The Edge of the World - Then and Now

In 1936 British film director Michael Powell, led a small film crew to Shetland, to make a movie based on the evacuation of St.Kilda in the Outer Hebrides. Much of the movie was filmed on Foula where may local folk appeared as extras. In 2006 and 2008, the author visited the isles to view the various locations and this is the result.
