Blockade 1914-1918 How Shetland won the War
Regular price £5.00
Although the title is intentionally whimsical, Shetland's contribution to the war was similar to every country, in that it was a source of manpower, but in a special way the islands (as opposed to people) played a far more crucial role in the war - of international strategic stature. A beautifully presented piece of work. With many photographs and pieces of informative text that will appeal to anyone with an interest in maritime and Naval history, and of course in wartime Shetland.
