Across the Sound: An Unst Anthology

Regular price £15.00

This is an anthology of prose and poems specifically about Unst. Some works are new, while others have been drawn from historical accounts of life on the island. They cover many styles of writing and include several contributions in dialect. Unst is Shetland’s, and Britain’s, most northerly inhabited island, situated half way between Scotland and the Norwegian coast, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the North Sea. Home to around 600 people, it has inspired artists and writers for generations and continues to do so in the present day.
