Mirds o Wirds is not a dictionary. It contains a selection of Shetland dialect words and phrases on different subjects, together with information and photographs designed to entertain as well as explain some of our words.
Words and phrases grouped under various themes such as weather, food, the sea, place-names, sheep and knitting and more. A lot has been packed in to a pocket-sized book.
