A collection of 24 fiddle tunes complete with demonstration CD featuring all of the 24 compositions in the book. Thomas Gideon Stove was born into a musical family, his grandfather being the well-known Shetland fiddler Gideon Stove. Originally from Lerwick but now living in the North East of Scotland the author teaches fiddle playing. He recently achieved his Licentiate of London College of Music Diploma in Scots fiddle teaching. “Thomas writes with a natural instinct for composition and I feel sure that this, his first collection of fiddle music, will stand the test of time and become an important part of Shetland’s fiddle tradition.” – Paul Anderson
